Detroit, MI, December 12 & 19, 2009 - Eastern Market is celebrating the holiday season with ice sculpting; Detroit Edison Public School Academy Children's Choir will greet the customer with Christmas carols and Santa & Mrs. Claus is coming to town.
Creative Ice Sculptors will perform on December 12 at 10am - 1pm in two locations on Saturday.
USDA grant to benefit Mich. produce farmers

A project that will add millions of dollars to the local economy, expand marketing opportunities for local farmers and give urban dwellers easier access to fresh food recently got a boost from a $40,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
