MR. & MRS. CLAUS AND TOYS FOR TOTS 

The North Pole is coming to the Detroit Eastern Market along with Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus in Shed 5 on Saturday, December 15 from 10am - 1pm. Photos with Mr. & Mrs. Claus are $5.00 or bring a new un-wrapped toy, day of Santa's visit, for the Toys for Tot Drive (Nov 24 - Dec 15) and your photo will be free.  Proceeds from photos with Santa will benefit the Detroit Eastern Market. Toys for Tots containers will be located in Sheds 3, 5 and the Detroit Eastern Market office located on 2934 Russell.

 

Santa's Workshop will be open for anyone who would like to make a small gift for someone special. So after you've taken your picture with Santa step into his workshop and help his elves make smiles and giggles this holiday season.  Santa's Workshop is in operation on Saturday, December 15 from 10 am to 1 pm located in Shed 5

 

CAROLERS

Sleigh bell ring are you listening. In the lane snow is glistening. Do you know the song “Walking in a Winter Wonderland?” If you like to join the carolers while they sing all your favorite winter and holiday songs please do. They will be through out the sheds from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

 

CREATIVE ICE BY ROY

If you enjoy watching blocks of ice being shpaed and morphed into beautiful works of art then this is the day you want to be at the market. Cretive Ice by Roy will be between Sheds 3 & 4 on Division St. showing off his creative talents in the art of ice sculpturing. Roy's creative juicies will flow from 9:45 am - 1 pm.
