Sunday Street Market
In 2014, Detroit’s historic Eastern Market added a new market day to the calendar, a daring departure from our classic Farmers' Market Faire: The Sunday Street Market features local items such as home goods, art, jewelry, clothing, Michigan-made products, antiques, and furniture, just to name a few. A limited number of produce and flower vendors will also be on hand.
If you’re looking for an alternative shopping experience to what you find at big-box stores or shopping malls, than this Market Day is for you!
For over a century, Eastern Market has been pivotal in connecting the citizens of Metro Detroit with farm fresh food and plants while revolutionizing the local food systems in the region. Sunday Street Market seeks to accomplish a similar mission for non-food goods.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday starting in June and running through September, visitors to Eastern Market will find Shed 2 filled with local products and find Shed 3 featuring weekly entertainment activities. Food trucks will also be present.

Interested vendors can submit an application for the 2015 Sunday Street Market season starting in February 2015.
Before submitting an application for any of our markets, you are advised to review our vendor handbook. Please note: Primary application season for the Sunday Street Market is February through May. If you are applying outside this window, review of your application may take 4 - 6 weeks. Independent consultants for national corporations such as Mary Kay, Scentsy, or Thirty-One are not eligible Sunday Street Market vendors.
