Friends of Eastern Market
Help support the exciting revitalization and renovation of Detroit’s Eastern Market, the largest and longest continuously operated public market in the United States. Member’s dues and donations are used to support projects such as:
· Renovation of the Market’s sheds
· Expansion of the programs such as Eastern Market Community Garden and Taste of Eastern Market
· Increasing the availability of fresh food to underserved neighborhoods with programs such as the Farm Stand and Mobile Food Trucks
By joining the Friends of Eastern Market, you will enjoy the benefits of membership as well as have the satisfaction of helping to revitalize Detroit’s best source of fresh food and flowers for people from all walks of life in the metropolitan area. Members are also able to take tours of different aspects of the market activities and these tours are only provided to Members.
